To arrive to Piódão and to Casa da Padaria, follow these instructions:
From Lisbon (296 km) or from Oporto (199 km) take the highway A1 in the direction of Coimbra. Take the exit to IP3 (Viseu direction) and next, take the exit to IC6 (Covilhã/Oliveira do Hospital/Piódão). Stay on IC6 until the exit to Piódão then take the first exit to Côja (old bridge). After crossing the bridge you can either turn right or left. Turning right, you will cross the village. There you can find a pharmacy, supermarket, ATM and gas station that you won’t have in Piódão. After leaving Côja, all you need is to follow the road signs. And, enjoy the view. It is breathtaking…
